The Stories You're Standing On

FREE ONLINE MASTERCLASS · TUESDAY 29TH SEPTEMBER

How to find the content hiding inside your business and turn your everyday expertise into visibility, authority and clients.

Tuesday 29th September, 9.30–10.30am UK. Free, on Zoom.

You don't need more content ideas.

You need to know where to look.

If you've ever sat staring at a blank screen thinking:

“What on earth am I going to post today?”

this masterclass is for you.

Because the chances are, you're not short of content.

You're standing on it.

It's in the questions your clients ask you.

The conversations you have every day.

The advice you give without even thinking about it.

Your opinions.

Your experiences.

Your client wins.

The work happening behind the scenes.

The problem is that when you're inside your business every day, it can be incredibly difficult to see what other people would find interesting, useful or valuable.

That's where I can help.

I used to find stories for a living.

Before starting Digital Mother, I spent 12 years working as a TV reporter, including nine years at national ITV.

And one of the biggest things journalism taught me was how to spot the story and find the angle.

As a reporter, you don't sit down in front of a blank screen and hope inspiration strikes.

You look at what's happening.

You listen.

You ask questions.

You work out why someone should care.

And you find the angle.

It's exactly the skill I now use when I'm helping founders with their content.

I can often see five pieces of content in a conversation that someone else thinks contains nothing worth posting about.

In this free masterclass, I'm going to show you how to start developing that Reporter's Eye for your own business.

What we’ll cover

Where your best content is already hiding

Why constantly asking “What should I post?” is making content harder, and where to look instead.

How to develop your Reporter's Eye

I'll show you how I learnt to spot stories and find angles during 12 years in TV, and how you can use the same skill in your business.

My ABC Method for finding content

A simple framework you can return to whenever you think you've got nothing to say.

And we'll actually do it together.

You'll look at your own business during the session and start uncovering the stories you're already standing on.

This isn’t just theory

We'll put this into practice during the masterclass.

I'll get you looking at your own business through a different lens and identifying some of the stories you're already standing on.

I want you to leave the session with real ideas from your own business and thinking:

“How did I not see all of this before?”

Who this is for

This masterclass is for female founders and solopreneurs who:

  • Regularly get stuck wondering what to post

  • Spend too much time thinking about content

  • Know they have expertise and experience to share, but struggle to turn it into content

  • Are posting but aren't sure their content is actually helping them become known for what they do

  • Want a simpler, more strategic way to create content and show up consistently

What you’ll leave with

By the end of the hour you'll have:

A new way of looking at your business as a source of content

The Reporter's Eye approach for spotting stories and finding angles

The ABC Method for knowing where to look when you don't know what to post

A bank of content ideas taken from your own business

A clearer understanding of what turns content into genuine visibility

And, most importantly:

You'll stop believing you have nothing to say.

Who’s running it?

I'm Emma, Digital Mother - a social media and content strategist helping female founders become known for what they do.

Before launching Digital Mother, I spent 12 years working as a TV reporter, including nine years at national ITV.

Today I combine the storytelling instincts of a reporter with practical social media strategy to help founders find their message, communicate their expertise and show up consistently online.

Because good visibility isn't about posting more.

It's about knowing what you want to be known for and knowing how to find the stories that help people see it.
